A meeting for reviewing Annual progress of FY 2016-17 of Microfinance Program of DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) was held at Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) head office conference room on July 27, 2017 with the participation of all Branch managers, Area managers and head office staffs. Honorable Executive Director of DAM and Secretary General of DFED,Dr. M. Ehsanur Rahman graced the event as chief guest.Md. Asaduzzaman, Head of DFED presided over the meeting.Director (Programme) of DAM, Dr. KhwazaShamsul Huda was also present as special guest in the meeting. While welcome addresses, Md.Asaduzzaman, Head of DFED focused on maintaining good portfolio quality of MFP andurged all to work for that. In his chairperson speech, DAM Executive Director and Secretary General of DFED Dr. M. Ehsanur Rahman emphasis on the expansion of DFED and scope of staff development.

In the meeting, intensive discussion proceeds on major audit observation and MIS findings. For strengthening the programme performance, different programmatic measures were discussed and accordingly set a development plan for the next Fiscal Year 2017-18, where minimizing portfolio at risk (PAR) and ensuring proper investment were given highest priority. The meeting was closed with the promise of achieving new development target.
