Elderly Peoples Program of DFED distributed Blankets and Old Age Allowance among the elderly people at Sukundi Union Parishad Auditorium of Monohardi Upazila under Narsingdi District on January 20, 2019. Sukundi Union Parishad Chairman Md. Sadiqur Rahman Shamim presided over the program while Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate of Monohardi Upazila Md. Assadikzaman was present as chief guest in the program. Focal Person of ENRICH and Elderly Program of DFED Head Office Md. Rezaul Islam and Zonal Manager of DFED Muhammad Khairul Islam were present as special guests. Winter Clothes (Blanket and Shawl) were distributed among 100 poor elderly people and old age allowance-600 Tk each were distributed among 75 under privileged elderly people.

It is noted that DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED), an institute of Dhaka Ahsania Mission and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) is jointly implementing the “Elderly Peoples Program”.
